I never understood why Friday nights are associated with the notion that if you don't go out and get inebriated at some club or house party like all the other nitwits, then you're somehow lame or pathetic. Then again, I am not like most people. I frankly don't care much for the bar scene, and I despise parties. I am not a very social person in many regards. I am content staying home, reading, surfing the internet, and enjoying a few beers in the comfort of my own house. I see nothing wrong with that.
