OK, I am NOT a fan of Fleetwood Mac (except a few of their songs), but I think Stevie Nicks looked pretty hot back in her early days. Agree/disagree?
I am actually going to see Fleetwood Mac perform here in Rochester on Monday. One of my friends gave me a free ticket because his girlfriend has to work that night. I normally wouldn't pay to see them perform as I am not a huge fan, but since it's free I say why not. There are a few songs I like from them. Unfortunately Stevie Nicks is old now and doesn't look nearly as good as she did back in the mid-70s. I hope the music is good at least. They just seem too old to be still performing. I think the concert will be lame, but you never know.
She looked pretty good back in her day, before she developed what I can only call masculine features.
And she turned out to be such a sell out... She admitted to only doing the music for the money, and you should see the hideous "art work" she's pawning off, these days!
I have a parody commercial somewhere for a Stevie Nicks compilation titled: "Stevie Nicks, what the hell is she saying?" which contains the line "throaty moaning like she has yarbles in her mouth". LOL She was gorgeous in '77 when the Rumors album came out. Then after her first solo work when all the mindless little teenaged wiccan girls decided she was their icon because she dressed in black lace and sang a song that contained the word "magic", she totally lost appeal.
On one of the South Park episodes, someone rescues Stevie Nicks in a far away land (turns out he grabbed a sheep going baaah!). "I got her! I got Stevie Nicks!" .
And the sheep ends up "singing" in the Fleetwood Mac concert. The sheep really WAS Stevie Nicks. "The Chain" is the only Fleetwood Mac song I like. Haha.
