Slowcooked with potatoes and baby carrots. And it was amazingly successful. It has gotten Daniel's seal of approval and that man sometimes puts Chef Ramsay to shame. I feel so accomplished.
Well, it had no pot. I mostly just said potroast so no one would think I was roasting celebrities or something cool. Haha.
I used Lipton Onion soup and a small can of cream of mushroom soup as the seasoning. Oh man, it's great.
did you pray over the dead animal before eating it? you know you'd want someone to thank you for dying so they could eat you! iggy:
mmmm i made a pork roast with golden yukon potatoes and carrots, onions and awesome gravy. Fork tender, only 2 and a half hours in the oven. Ima try the soup gravy next time. that sounds good.
It was good, it was awesome. I used our slow cooker, though. I don't love any food more than something cooked all day.
I don't even like pot roast but that shit sounds pretty cash. I'm actually making inverted moongoat chili fairly soon, though. I make the BEST chili.
so i don't know if tis has been said cuz i'm drunk and don't read when i'm drunk so like you know you can add some flour ad butter to make a rou and make beef stew outta theleft oers and it'll be good.
Haha, that sounds good, but there weren't really enough leftovers to do much with. And that was a pound of potatoes and 2 pounds of roast. We usually only eat one pound of meat a day between the three of us!
a roux is good for roast, but I like to make it ahead of time. Brown the meat in a pan, make a thin roux and pour it in the roasting pang pot and let it thicken as it cooks.
god, i love pot roast. one of my favorite things ever. dave used to hate it. but he'd never tried my pot roast.
