I have from various employers three different superannuation schemes. It appears to be common practice to deduct life insurance premiums without the policy holder’s consent. I consider this to be unconscionable behaviour. In fact I find the whole idea of life insurance to outdated. So check you super statements to see if they are deducting and decide for your self if you really want it.
