Do you think I should stick with my afro or go ahead and get dreads?

I used to have an afro that was a good half a foot tall, I prefer dreads more, because they suit my face better, and people don't try to put bits of paper or gum in my hair anymore. :D

Of course, I'd need to see pictures before I could advise what to do.

Ok My hair short right now because I my mom made me get a hair cut but its about 3 inches long now. Before I got it cut it was about 11 inches. One thing I loved about a huge afro is that girls around where I live, love to pick it out. But I'll get a picture up pretty soon.

afros seem to be a pain to care for i dunno tho im just lazy..but afros become dreads really easy if ya just forget about em lil while ..otr hell go on a eek long drinking binge u might come back to reality with unintentional dreads (not suggesting that i hate alcahol..just saying adfros can easily unintentionaly become dreads so why not let it do what it wants)

Locks are a bit of a long term commitment so make sure that's what you really want before you let your hair lock up.

My afro is a curly afro. Its not like a full black person's hair because I'm half black and half white so I just have really big curls that I have to pick out. My hair doesn't dread naturally

ummm u said u have tio pick it out then said it doesnt dread naturaly

if u are picking it iut your preventing it from dreading
stop it and your gonna see it will dread like crazy

maybe tioo crazy havinbg that crazy haor so..twist it into sctions..they will dread in no time with no effort

but u can skip that go full natural and just seperate em as they form
when u sleep u will cause em..instead of picking ..feel around fgor areads holding together and rip 1 from another to make em moe distinct from eachorther
repeat that till they are well defined

your hair naturaly will dread prettyu damn fast..its relative ..but i think u could make ppl jealouse in 3-4 weeks
