Just curious what up and coming movies that you are looking forward to? Either coming out this year, or the next couple. Whether in production or just a rumor...

    Here are mine:

    2009:

Star Trek ( Please JJ, get it right!)
    Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen
    Avatar
    Terminator Salvation
    Public Enemies
    Inglourious Basterds

    2010:

Clash of the Titans ( revisiting my teens years! )
    Iron Man 2
    Prince of Persia

    2011:

    Spidey 4
    The Hobbit

    2012 and beyond:

    The Avengers
    Tr2n

Those are the main ones. I'm sure there are more that haven't hit my radar yet.... :sifone:

OK, the fact that I just learned of IronMan2 and The Hobbit = good news. Very cool indeed.

They are making a 4th installation of The Bourne Series and I'm pretty damn near 100% that its going to be off the fucking charts like the other three were. what an awesome series.

I mean I'm drawn to certain people's acting so I'm looking forward to Keira Knightley in King Lear and that one about the fitzgeralds in the jazz scene, I'm looking forward to Johnny Depp in The Rum Diaries and Alice In Wonderland. The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnissus or whatever the hell the correct spelling is, that should be a dope1 too. the fact that its heath ledger's last appearance in a film gives it that "daaamn" factor ya know?? "New York, I love you" should be another cool one expected for release here in the next short bit.. i'll be keeping that third wheel peeled for any other positive releases in the next few blocks of time.

never hurts to go back and re-live any of the oldies either ; )

Really only looking forward to Inglourious Basterds and Public Enemies. Terminator Salvation is most likely going to be shit (a music video director named "McG", for fuck's sake).

They cancelled the Ender's Game movie! Even though book adaptations can swing towards awful a lot of the time I think they're usually worth trying (especially if they're based on one of my favs). So that's one less thing I'm looking forward to.
I might go see Star Trek (I'm not a fan of the franchise really, just of JJ Abrams).
Speaking of JJ and adaptations, he has the film rights to Stephen King's Dark Tower series. Apparently he doesn't have any plans yet to put it into production, but I take notice when my favorite book series might become a film.
    The Hobbit will be awesome.
They're remaking Clash of the Titans?!
