East TN...I've been out 3 days in a row in 2 different cow fields looking for cubensis and haven't found a single one. One time at 3 AM after a rain the night before, one time at 6 PM after it rained 2 days before, and once at noon when it rained that night. What's going wrong here? I thought cubensis was supposed to be common here. ;(
have you noticed the weather man? it's too cold for the cubensis to grow. I live in a VERY small, rural town in West SC.... so, i know your pain man. It's not all that cold at night yet, but from what i hear... it's gettin' to be too cold for the cow fields to yield the magick shrooms. Another thing is that you gotta look in cow fields with grain-fed cows. Some people say they even have to be the right cows- Black Angus, but i don't know how true that is or not. It seems you're kinda outta luck for right now, but go to www.shroomery.org (i think it's .org?) and get ye some inspiration. Carry on now. Peace, Mac
Actually...after giving up on cow fields I foubnd a few blue bruising shrooms in my yard over the septic tank. I ate about half a cap earlier after 6 beers and thenn had an 8 oz bottle of tussin. I dunno if it's the shrooms im feelingh or waqt right now.
high from 1/2 cap ..... not likely .... maybe its the 6 beers and 8 oz. of tussin .... I guess its possible but never heard of it before in my life .... My buddie is only 5'8" and weighs about 100 lbs dripping wet and it took him a full 1/8 to get a little buzz his FIRST time.
I wouldnt be eating just any old mushrooms I find in my back yard that bruise blue, but thats just me.
