i can't stop thinking about how sick this lineup is...i gotta say i am impressed! the dead, SCI (if keller is added later woot woot), sts9, disco biscuits, LES fuckn CLAYPOOL, Cold War Kids, G love and special Sauce, Girl Talk, Matisyahu, Zappa plays Zappa, SHPONGLE DJ SET (not sure what this means, if you know let me know!!!), Lotus man idk where to begin...like damn!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and who will be added?!?!?!
i just saw the line up and it looks amazing and im hoping i can work it out to go, money is the only problem right now(was thinking about mountain jam cause its cheaper) but this lineup looks awesome.
im not saying keller has to play with with sci the whole time, id be happy if he had his own set...though it would be awesome if they could play a song together...man when they played "Best Feeling" with Keller at Bonnroo in 2007 I was blown to pieces...but i feel you sci can do their own thing for sure!!
Does anyone know what the STS9 Live PA Set means? I had a friend send me a link to explain it, but it didn't explain anything to me.
Live PA will be sts9 w their drummer, and everyone else on laptops for the most part (maybe one or two smaller instruments...).....they basically just remix tracks live on the spot, instead of a jam-band approach....definitely more computer program influenced, with live drums and some suttle tweaks...i have heard both good and bad things about sts9 pa sets....like any group really though...i would expect nothing but world class from sts9 at rothbury however... Rothbury 2008 > Rothbury 2009 Just my opinion...theres a lot of good ones on that lineup this year, but theres ALOT that suck ass too! Opposed to last year, where 90% of the lineup was A+.....dont worry, Roth will still be a ragin good time, just dont expect it to top last years...
I think the lineup this year is AMAZING .... a few bands im not into but hopefully they play during the time the 30 bands i wanna see are playing
