    I am only rude when

    1. The person is being rude first
    2. The person is annoying the fuck out of me and didn't get the hint the first time I rolled my eyes at them
    3. I am having one of those crazy pissed off mania moments

That happened to me about 4 months ago, when I was introduced to this girl who was sitting on their porch. I say "Oh hi. So are you a friend?" To which she replies "... I guess." as she gives me the stink eye, folds her arms and acts like she's the coolest shit. I just blinked at her, laughed inside, and said "Ewkay!"

How can you not realize that someone just said hello to you and it's polite to say "Hi" back?

People are just crazy. A couple of months back, one of John's ex girlfriends came over to pick up something. I've met her once before and I thought she was cool. John had said to me that she wanted me to teach her and her daughter Spanish, I was all excited about it. Well the day she came, John was in the kitchen smoking a cig with his friend Brian and I was in the living room talking to his friend Aidan. She came over was talking to them in the kitchen, John mentioned me and I heard her say "Aura is here?!", so she came in the living room, saw Aidan said "Aidan!" (she hadnt seen him in years). I smiled and waved hello and she just turned around and went back into the kitchen

    Because they don't care
Because they're in a bad mood (could be that they need a good lay)
    Because they think they're funny
    Because they're stressed out
    Because they're jealous
    Because someone asks for it
Or just because they aren't aware of it

I'm not a rude person but of course I have my moments of rudeness too

I really wish I knew the answer.

Back in high school there would be this lady who worked as a secretary (not any real job that required any form of work) for a bitchy old man who was out to get everyone and thought every kid was imperfect and had at least one thing wrong with them. I swear they were like a team, when you went into the office she'd be on the phone with a personal call and you would have to stand there 20 minutes before she hung up and finally looked at you like you were just staring into her eyes with a serial killer look and says "Uh, hi, yeah, can I HELP you?" and she was just so unnecessarily bitchy and horrible.

    Catholic school man....

    No I am not.

I can be curt if necessary, but I am always civil.
