I don't know about you, but I certainly would. And there are plenty of fat people driving around in cars to prove my point, that one which you appear to be missing.
The nearest Wal-Mart is 15 miles away, so I rather like the invention of the automobile when I need to go pick up some...well, whatever the hell it is I get at Wal-Mart...lol.
Cars and obesity... There may be correlation between the two but there is NO causation. Though some people may benefit from walking to/from work, it doesn't mean that people can't choose to drive their fat ass to a gym, park, or even walk around the neighborhood. To say that if we didn't have cars, there would be less fat people is only slightly true. Some people may lose some weight, but I'd bet you money that those obese turds would find a way to not sweat.
I know a lot of fat people who drive cars. I also know a lot of fat people who sit at home on their asses all day. I also know a lot of skinny people who drive cars. To say that driving a car will make you fat is ridiculous.
Sometimes bicycling can be extremely dangerous, and carrying loads of groceries on a bicycle isn't exactly convenient. There really is no argument against cars. You've dropped your reliance on a vehicle, good for you. Now you can gtfo my face while I rev my engine just for the fuck of it...
Cars cause people to become lazy. Being lazy causes you to become fat. It's causal all right. Not everyone who drives a car is going to get fat, but overall demographically, it's making people fat. The stats are there.
And driving a car is not dangerous? So let's all buy our groceries from the supermarket, and cycle/walk to work where possible. Then we wont need so many cars.
How do you go grocery shopping? Seriously, how can you carry groceries on a bike or carry several bags home at a time?
That's cool as hell. My bike would fall over if I set it up like that. It's kind of a piece of crap cheapo from Wal-Mart. We really just need to take it apart and put it back together ourselves. Haha.
lol, cars cause people to be lazy, how about the internet your on right now, how about the t.v. whens its a hobby it definitley comes no where near making you lazy.complete opposite.
Like I said. Correlation may be there but there is no causation...get that? no causation meaning cars don't CAUSE people to become fat. Same exact thing can be said about cars and laziness.
it depends where you live too....cars are not necessary for city folk...but they sure are good to have when you have groceries and theres bears everywhere I would cycle everywhere too....but four wheelers arent allowed on the highways here
If I tried to carry groceries home, they'd all go bad before I got there, lol. And not to mention dogs and cats and crazy drivers who hit old ladies in crosswalks. The idea of grocery shopping with no car is terrifying indeed. I don't have a car quite yet, though, so I only go grocery shopping once a week when my parents go. The grocery store here costs twice as much as the grocery store that they go to in town.
I was kind of exaggerating when I said theres bears everywhere..they just visit on garbage pickup day..theyre smart like that
