    Last night I dreamed this.

I'm standing in a large outdoor clearing with my mom and lots of other people. A rocket comes out of the sky and as it gets lower it appears as if it's going to hit us directly, but just as it gets over our heads it speeds up real fast and within seconds it has crashed much farther away, I'm guessing miles and miles but close enough that we can see the fire, which is massive. Almost right after another one crashes, this time within the clearing and I'm pretty sure it hit people. It was close enough that running became a very good idea. I know that it wasn't the last one, so I'm wanting to get the hell out of there. I'm not afraid but I feel urgency and an intent to survive. I tell my mom to come on, but she won't come with me. She's sitting down and refuses to leave. I leave. There's a huge throng of people walking down the road carrying a few belongings. I join them; we're just walking away, nowhere in particular just somewhere not here. I'm aware of not having a sense of direction, but it doesn't really matter as long as we're away. It gets vague after this; I end up traveling with a small group of people. There are no friends made and I'm alone, no one I know and no relations but I'm not uncomfortable.

Just curious what this might mean, I don't usually have such interesting dreams.

There are people in your life holding you back, and you need to get around that, whether you have their support or not, because you'll find support if you look hard enough.

At least I think that might be it.

Oh, I never would have thought of that. What made you come to that conclusion?
It could be true, my parents have held me back in a lot of ways. (I had my learner's permit for a year before I was allowed to use it[at 19], among other things.) But I haven't had anything to complain about in awhile. Things have been looking up. Unless it's someone else in my life.

Well, i assume by rockets you mean the explosive kind?

The rockets might mean some sort of problem, or disaster so to speak. It lands far away at first, maybe because you don't really notice it. You don't panic about whatever is affecting you, but you know it's there (or at least subconciously). Your mother does not want to go with you, which may mean shes sort of keeping you in place, or dragging you down.

As the rockets get closer, the 'disaster' becomes more apparent. Perhaps you will notice whatever it is much more in the near future, and after getting around whatever obstacle the rockets represent, you will find others like you that have overcome said obstacle as well (the group of people walking).

    Hi Therese Aline,

I'm leaning towards this interpretation. The rockets are more symbolically akin to meteor imagery: in dreams, meteors represent a message from heaven. Fire, as always, represents total transformation. You may literally have internal transformations "on the horizon", but your first instinct is to abandon the higher calling and not undergo the inner change.

The result is a sort of wandering through life, leaving your true destiny (a destination you cannot locate), unfulfilled.

    Hope that helps.

    Thanks, guys.
I'm leaning toward the first interpretation, where I'm strong on my own. I feel like that what's I'm growing toward, being strong in my life. I embrace life lessons, I look at every single event in life as a learning experience. I don't see myself fleeing a learning experience, I'm typically glad for the lessons.
Spirit, I did mean the explosive kind of rockets.
