network analysis: first of all this is a broad term, there are many things that can be analyzed in a network. so the pros are: u know how your network is running, and you can identify problems or areas that need improvements (ie bottlenecks, etc) cons: depending on what type of analisis you are doing it may or may not be cost effective compared to the actual problems. you have to consider man power, time and money if you need to buy tools do the analysis weather it be hardware or software.
