NoNoNo! Scissors Won't Work! You must use a knife! And no ferrous metals either, it must be a copper or bronze knife, or it destroys all the acid's majik! Oh, yeah, and you can't cut along the diagonal, to make sure the halves are even, either, that also killz de majik, the cut has to be orthogonal.
Cut it how you would cut a piece of paper, but store it in away from light and away from air, so preferably wrap it in tin foil then a plastic bag, and if you wanna store it long term then in an airtight jar.
if you can, use a scalpel/exactoknife. the less chemical that sticks to blade/table, the less youll get.
I have cut them, with scissors, knifes, teeth, fingers, diamonds, blades and any other object you can imagine in halfs, quarters, eights, thirds and unproportionate sizes and I can tell u I haven't had any problems I remember this time we were at the beach we had a bunch of acid and at one point I went to get an other hit and the blotter had bite, you could see the perfect shape of a mouth in one of the corners I was rolling laughing looking at it
