Storing acid

Hey I was wondering since I'm gonna buy some acid for a later date, how is the best way to preserve it and how long will it last?

 

i would store it in tinfoil (non-absorbant and it does not let light in) and then put it in the freezer if you are storing it for a while, or the fridge if not as long.

 

how long would storing it in the freezer give me?

 

just keep it in an airtight container, like a bag or something, and out of light. Keep it below 80 degrees fahrenheit and you'll be fine. If you put it in the freezer, it should last years.

 

Yup in a dark cool place like a freezer it will last years.

 

I keep it in foil in a book on my bookshelf, in a dark closet. Stays cool ad dry and dark there. Will keep for a long time.
