So, my dad's having an affair

i don`t believe in marriage. Marriage is created by insecure woman. of course this is just my opinion, but free love is what its all about. i have a friend (she is way older than me) and she is with her so called boyfriend for ....actually i don`t know for how long, but they have a child together, they live together and love each other but they are not married. he fuckes whoever he wants and she does the same thing. They never get tired of each other , because they don`t feel obligated to one another and that`s want makes thier realtionship special and..hmm the right word is neveredning!

 

I wouldn't want to be in a relationship like that. How lame and disrespectful.

You know, fuck this world. No one respects anything anymore. If there is a God, I hope he destroys and kills us all very soon.

 

The reason to be in a monogamous relationship shouldnt be because you feel obligated to do so, but simply because you want to.

but i would prefer this kind of relationship hundred times over a typical marriage, when u have 100 percent assurance that after 5 years you man will surely search for other women behind your back. i mean it`s cool for you both to give yourself`s the freedom to do whatever you want. sex does not always mean love, so then why should you care if you "hubby" have a one night stand somewhere? i mean it`s more than natural to have an attraction towards more than one human being and if you have the chance and want to do something than why not. I really believe this kind of relationships are the healthiest and strongest. And most important they last! of course if both the partners think the same.

 

If one of my sons knew my wife was having an affair with someone I would want them to tell me. Then, I would get my revenge. I would hide in the bedroom closet with a gun and wait for them to get into bed. While they were fucking, I would burst out of the closet and shoot the dude. Then, I would tell my wife, "your son told me."

I wouldn't really do this . I would probably just file for divorce and say, "fuck it!" Life's too short to worry about who's fucking who. If she wants to fuck someone else, then that means I'm not fulfilling her needs. I would find another women and get into a new relationship, or maybe just hire a hooker.

The only problem I see with this is what happens to their happy little union when he gets someone else pregnant or she gets pregnant by someone else? Or gets some crazy ass STD? Condoms are alright, yeah, but they aren't perfect. That brings a whole new complication to things. That's why Daniel and I remain monogamous. It's not because I'm insecure, it's because I don't want to have to deal with the drama and a new baby can bring a HELL of a lot of drama, lol. Noooo thanks.

 

yeah, you gotta be super careful and have very high standards if you're gonna have an open relationship. family and spouse come first.

If you tell your mother, speaking from experience (my sister and I caught several of my mother's men she was involved with at one point out with other women) she may not believe you. Actually, more like she may not want to believe you, aka denial.

ah, gotta love old folks who think everyone younger is ignorant and pays no attention to the world around them... surprisingly, most people are aware of pop culture icons from before their time, not to mention ann landers was in the newspapers as recently as a few years ago; i used to read her occasionally when i lived with my parents.




as for the actual question here, i said nothing to either of them. i'm certain that my mom knew long before i did anyway.

 

Any marriage, and any living together arrangement, is whatever the two people involved agree to. Whatever works for them is fine. The important thing is to be open and honest about the ground rules. Dishonesty is the biggest killer of relationships.

 

my father went to a big hash run in vegas and brought home goody bags. in the good bags were all kinds of funny little things like penis whistles, booby shaped stress balls, candy and condoms. one of my dad's condoms was missing. my mom laughs and says "well no wonder he's in such a good mood!" we high fived.

no. in many cases it is dishonest, yet both parties know and do not wish to admit it. there are many reasons why this can happen. but in such a case where there is at least a facade of monogamy, yet both parties know (openly or not) they are often happier to not have the issue brought up. they may wish to avoid divorce or dealing with these issues for many reasons. in some cases it's beneficial to both parties, so long as it appears to stay secret.

confronting either party about it puts them on the spot and forces them to deal with issues that they may not wish to deal with. like it or not, it may be cheating and still not be unhealthy (though i certainly don't "like" it)

i'd recommend leaving them to their own devices.

 

...was just thinking about something practical here... Since dad is fooling around - can I have sex with your mom? I'd have fun and that would restore the balance of things. Do you have naked pics of your mom???
