My and my friend were planning to make opium. 1. Can you get addicted to opium? or How often do you have take to become addicted 2. How long do the effects last 3. Are some of the effects similar to heroin?
The only way to "make" actual opium is to scrape the sap off the scored poppy pods. It's addictive, but not as potent as the pharmaceutical opiates. It takes constant use of at least several days to a week to become physically dependent on it. Psychological addiction can take over pretty quickly if the stuff really does it for ya the first time! Some people just get sick and never want to touch it again. Opium contains primarily morphine and codeine. Heroin is technically diacetylmorphine, which is made from morphine, so there's that similarity to H, but much much weaker. Actually, never tried either of them but done my homework! Be safe!
1. Can you get addicted to opium? Yes, I'd say it'd take about a week of heavy use or more to withdraw and get sick from it, but the mental addiction can be there from the start. 2. How long do the effects last - 2-4 hours i'd say. 3. Are some of the effects similar to heroin? yes, they're both opiates. but heroin is about 1000 times stronger in my experience. doesn't even compare. basically opium is like smoking something stronger than hash, except that you'll get physically addicted to it after a while. Anyway, its relatively safe, just don't bite off more than you can chew.
Opium brought the downfall of a great chinese dynasty due to widespread addiction. yes, its addicting.
um use this thing called erowid.org it knows everything and look up cooked flake opium for how to make it
I know how to make it, it's easy as hell. I was just wondering how addictive and what it actually does. But it really is only addictive if you use it multiple times a week.
