What opioids/opiates give u the most insomnia?

For me it would have to EVERY opiate/opiod except methadone and morphine. Thats not to say I don't nod of course. However I am much more sensitive to semi synthethic opioids like demerol, fentanyl (smoked and/or eaten), or even natural opiates like codeine ...i doubt its the caffeine as I usually take tylenol 4's (60mg/15mg codeine/caffeine). I worry a lot though naturally from anxiety and panick attacks for which I take clonazepam and clonidine 4mgs and 0.3mg. I once took kratom (14g eaten in 4 table spoons) with 2-3 beers, 2mg-4mg clonazepam, 0.1mg-0.2mg clonidine and weed on top of that and fel asleep in the late hours of the morning (dosed at 12 midnight and fell asleep at 7am-8am). Other times with kratom I just had a 2-3 beers and 1mg/0.1mg clonazepam/clonidine and NEVER slept a wink (also doses at 12 midnight).

This is why I once went through 50mg-60mg oxycodone snorted without tolerence (90mg-120mg codeine would get me high tolerence) while when I REALLY felt relaxed and mellow the fuck out I took the very next day or even later that night I can't recall a quarter of an 80mg pill orally and that 20mg did more than anything 60mg snorted over half hour did.

Has this happend to you?

 

Oh yeah and if not in a propely mellow mood opioids/opiates can make you VERY agitated and you can become aggresive over the smallest things. (like ur parents turning on the light when ur nodding so fucking hard and barely watching the tv).

 

i seem to be the opposite of you man. i normally do have trouble sleeping, but if i have a nice buzz off of any opiode, i find it so easy to sleep. and its the same with your other problem, they put me in more of a good mood if anything. i love any kinda interaction with people when im high.

 

yea, usually its mad easy to sleep for me if i'm doing them recreationally.

though i have noticed that i get maaad, maaad irritated if people start annoying me while i'm trying to feel the high.

 

opana is the worst when i comes to insomnia. it will put me into a half-asleep state all night, but will never let me get any real, restful sleep. i experience this somewhat with other opiates but its the worst with opana.

 

same here with oxy ill just nod off and not really sleep but im not even tired the next day...... weird

with natural opiates I can sleep so easy, morphine, codeine, all knock me out (same with dillys?)
but with semi synthetics I cant sleep till the come down (I dont find oxy speedy, but i still cant sleep)
wonder what fent would do for me

 

I've actually switched to dosing in the afternoon instead of night. Oxy will make it impossible to sleep, and gives me temporary sleep apnea.

 

I can't sleep on Opiates. Dosen't mater what it is, even Morphine. I might fall asleep around 2am but wide awake by 4am then up all day and don't even feel tired..
So after a couple of nights I have to take my last dose early and hope for the best..

 

after a night of Opana i sleep like a baby... no opiate at the time really keeps me wide awake.. i fall asleep fine.. its the days after doing a bunch of opiates that sleep becomes difficult.. but that's what i got muscle relaxers for... one of them and im knocked out..

 

yeah, whenever i try to sleep on oxy i tend to wake up frequently. and then once i actually start to doze off, i'll get these weird audible hallucinations that usually wake me up.

i don't mind it, because then i'll usually get out of bed and just say fuck it to whatever i was going to do the following morning, and then enjoy the rest of my high while it lasts.
