wet bud

i jus got a quarter of some dank but with alot of hairs from my dealer. problem is he said his supplier picked the buds off the plant a lil to soon so now the bud is like really wet and i think its makin the bud less potent when i smoke it. is there anyway to like make the bud a little drier

 

just set it out for like 2 days maybe 3 then smoke some

 

put it near a fan blowing hot air..
small electric heater for a batroom will work just fine..
If your humidity is low in your atmosphere, on top of the TV will do.

 

Or, if you live with your parents and can't just let your bud sit around all day, cut some paper into strips and put it in your bag, the paper will absorb some moisture

 

it wont make it less potent but it means you will be getting a lot less for your money. A gram of wet weed will lose a shit lot of weight by the time it dries

no, losing weight wouldnt affect how strong it is.

 

potency has to do with how dank it is... aka an eighth of mids vs an eighth of dank is not the same

 

1/8 of wet weed has less thc than 1/8 of dry weed.

 

Use a brown paper bag to dry your weed in. It is to acidic for mold to grow. It absorbs the moisture as well.

 

yeah, because an 8th dry is going to have more weed, not just thc than an 8th of wet

 

That may be true, but it doesn't stop one gram of dry weed being more potent by weight than one gram of wet weed as long as they're the same strain.

 

It will be less potent. Wet weed will have more inactive thca. It needs to be dried and cured for the majority of the thca to convert to thc.

 

So if when if was still wet weighed out to be 14grams, after dried how much will it weigh about?

 

i dunno, depends on strain, how wet it actually was when weighed...a friend of mine ended up with 38 grams after buying 55, he didnt weigh it till the next day and it came out 38 grams so it can lose a lot of its weight.

Also wonka i highly doubt that there will be a significant loss of thc if there is.
Iv smoked some damp northern lights one day and gotten high as fuck and then the next day dried there was no difference in potency.

Damp weed in a vaporiser is nicer than dry i think, much more taste to it

 

tru, haha now im scared to buy weight cuz ima be pissed if i pay it then after it dries it like 10grams less

 

I got 3 grams of wet bud n i made like a box out of tinfoil and set it on top of my electric lamp.. was dry in about 20 mins n it got me sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo HIIIIIIIIIGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

if you've got an old lava lamp, you can take the glass lava bit out so ur left with just a metal hole with a really hot bulb in it, cover the hole in some tin foil, push it down a little, let it heat up, put your bud in....

Feel the bud first. if its wet don't buy it.
