I love it. I went out at got a hold of some of the old show after the first season... This blows everything it was away by a long shot.

As a kid - I'd lie infront of the tv eating crips and watching it - there seemed to be so many episodes that it was like a never ending other world. One time I remember they ended up on earth in modern times which was weird. But I am right aren't I that the one guy was also 'face' out of the A-team??

I remember my mom telling me she never missed an episode of the old one.

But the one when they made it to modern earth was a complete piece of junk.

What was quite realistic? The new episodes?

If that's what you mean, then yes

You're absolutely correct, RGP. When the credits rolled in the beginning of The A-Team, as Dirk Bennedict showed up, a Ceylon would walk past, and Face would have a look of de-ja-vu on his...err, face. It was good ol' Starbuck. He now runs a trendy coffee shop.[IMG]

Since my last post I have managed to see some of the new episodes thanks to a very good friend of mine from Holland;).

I am amazed. It's the best sc-fi I've ever seen in my life. I'm well impressed. A lot of thought and detail has gone into making this series.

I have a nostalgic fondness for the original series and it took me a while to let go of it and get into the new one but once I did, I was floored.I love this show! It is so gritty and raw ... not all perfect and sanitized like the original.

If you're interested in "back in the day," you need to check out Caprica when it finally comes out... They're making a new series set on Caprica (duh) before the first Cylon war... Telling the back story to the creation of the Cylons and all that... Main character set to be Joseph Adama (Adm. Adama's lawyer father).

Cool...I've heard the term "Caprica" thrown around...but wasn't totally sure what it was all about...thanks for the heads-up!!!

Have you been catching any of the mini eps.?? I've been pretty impressed with all of them, thus far....

    I LOVE Battlestar Galactica!

How do you guys like Razor? I thought it was pretty good. It was a good way to tell the story of Pegasus. I thought they should have shown it in a way that you understood why Adm Kane made the decisions she did. I'm still thinking she is a wackjob - and maybe that's just the way it was. I liked the flashbacks of Adm Adama, and the scenes showing Pegasus during the initial attack.

But why oh why must we wait so long between seasons? Especially season 4? It's one of the main reasons I'm glad season 4 is the last. The other reason is that I can't wait to see how they come across Earth, and when in Earth's history will they get there? I'm just tired of waiting a year for a few months of shows. And where the heck are the Season 3 DVDs? The UK has had it for months, but the US has to wait till April? WTF?

I think it's one of the most awesome shows I've ever seen.

It provides a nice, dark foil to Doctor Who on the SciFi Channel.

I can't wait for January and the finale. I thought season 1 was by far the best one. Learning about the last 4 Cylons was outstanding especially with the music by Bear McCreary.

YES! Doing the happy dance here 'cause I totally called the 5th! The bet money is piling in. IN YOUR FACE to all who thought 'You can't be right' to 'Wow, you're really being a frakn' dork you're so wrong'. I think I literally danced for a full five mins after the show.

    So glad it's back.

I liked the part with modern earth, actually. Thought the montage of all the robots was a nice touch.
