Ok,I know that this question may seem stupid, but if you keep weed(not the plant I mean when it is ready to be rolled in a joint and to be smoked) is there any risk for the THC to leave the stuff.I mean if I put it somewhere in the house and I smoke it after 4 days will it have the same effect? Is it possible to have no effect on me after I have kept it for so long?

actually.. an interesting thing happens when you leave weed in a joint for long. The tricomes and little hairs just slide their way out of the spliff and start walking as far away as the joint as possible.

for real.. nah, don't worry about it. The potency won't be affected.. even after the year, the change would most likely not even be significant if even present.

just try not to move it around too much and you shouldn't have anything to worry about.

are we talking about weed that's already IN a joint? or ground-up to be later rolled into a joint?

keep in mind that oxygen and light will degrade THC. if the weed is already ground up, more of the THC will be exposed to the air even if kept in an airtight container. it may not degrade that much, but will probably dry out and be a harsher smoke. if it's already in the joint - kinda the same thing.

the best thing to do is keep it in its original (bud) form in a dark, airtight container. this way, it should actually improve in potency because it will continue to cure a little bit. if you're storing it for a long period of time, opening the container every now and then will help with this (speaking in terms of months).

if you're worried about keeping it for 4 days, dont worry. not much will by going on in 4 days.
