Anyone anyone??? I'm a pretty dedicated/obsessive contact juggler. Anyone else here into juggling arts???
i love watching contact juggling.. have yet to really try it.. personally i juggle flower stick.. and set them on fire too
i am! been doing tossing for 8 years and CJ for about 4. i do lots of gigs around the denver boulder area and make decent money off it! have you heard of OCCJD?
I like enigma stuff best, and trying to infuse different characters into the ball- lots of other stuff too though. What about you?
im mainly into body rolling and stall points, enigmas and isolations are cool, but idk, just never really got into them https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wB9K5l1aOBA thats just me sort of dicking around at the kansas city ren fest, i had no idea i was being filmed until like maybe half way through it, nothing to serious is in it really. ill see if i can get something else taped at some point though. how about you?
you're awesome! That was sweet I only have this video from a pretty long time ago where I was still learnig a lot of the things I was doing- it's not to interesting https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y3VaWPyAlSA&feature=channel_page How long have you been doing it?
nice thats not half bad at all! ive been doing for oh idk...close to 3 or 4 years now sort of off and on. you?
now ive never actually looked into what contact juggling is but i assume its wear you use your body to help juggle, like rolling the ball along your arms and shoulders, if thats the case then i know a small amount of contact juggling, i prefer devil sticks and frisbee tricks though
about a year and a half- deff. has made my life far more lovley. But I'm also working on a bunch of other circus stuff right now so I have not learned much new stuff latley.
that's sweet I have some friends into devil sticks and frisbee tricks, it's pretty sweet. I do poi, staff, hoop, nunchaku (learning!), and some other stuff, but CJing is my favorite thing.
like the weapons? be careful with thoses, theyre known for breaking bone. I havent gone outta my way with the staff, but i worked in a factory where i would spend a good part of the day doing tricks with broom handles
oh that's fun! I just did slackline the first time last week, and am also working on stilts. My favorite thing latley is been doingg some of the slightly more riskey fire eating tricks, as well as learning nunchaku and contact staff.. always so many things to learn
heh i'm learning how to juggle. im god aweful actually. see i work at great adventure [haha proudly] and everyone there can do all these cool random things like juggle and eat fire.. so im trying to learn and i give them so much props cause that is soo not easy.. at least not for me but seriously if you can juggle and do crazy shit with it then allt he power to ya!
indeed its some fun stuff! anyone can learn it, seriously. fire eating is something thats all ways intrigued me...ive learned how to blow/breathe it but never eat it
That's funny, I never do spitting cause it makes me kind of uncomfortable to put gas in my mouth- although some people I know use high percentage booze. Fire eating on the other hand I think just takes some courage, I've been learning lots of tricks latley where you transfer flames to unlit tourches on your tounge or hands or whatever, it's not hard but always looks really cool
my goal this summer is fire breathing. i have a horribly awesome fascination with an open flame. im finally getting some actual cone poi for my bday too! this summer is full of festivals and learning things. gonna be learning CJ and contact staff hopefully too. contact staff looks so amazing and smooth.
