I have read a few scattered reports on the internets that Acetone is better than Isopropyl alcohol at extracting the THC out of plant material, because the Acetone dissolves the THC better and dosent pick up as much crap/chlorophyll etc with it.

    Can anyone confirm this?
I would also like to know which one evaporates quicker- Iso or Acetone??

One more question: I have a bottle of Isopropyl alcohol that is 5+ years old. Is it still ok to use?

yep, i've also heard the acetone extract thc better than iso alcohol...as long as the acetone evaporates cleanly. why would you want to use iso thats 5 years old? dont be a cheap son and go buy yourself some new alcohol...only like $1.99 for every bottle.

A panda bear who unfortunately became addicted to crack and lost all of his possessions once told me that he preferred Acetone to Iso because it seemed that it was easier to quickly and cleanly evaporate all of the Acetone. He was just a crazy crackheaded panda bear though, so who knows...
