I am currently is possession of one, count it, ONE hydro 5. I am getting a headache and im getting more tempted to take it. I tend to sniff hydros (yes, stupid i know because of the apap) but I was thinking of taking it orally. Question is, should i just swallow it or take it sublingually (let is disolve under my tongue)? I know some hardcore opiate addicts are just gonna tell me to throw it away, but I want the most out of a small dose and to get rid of my headache as well (i dont have any regular otc pain meds around). I was leaning towards the sublingual method. Will this be better than just swallowing it or should i just swallow it?
Why not just save it until you get more? I can't see how such a low dose is going to do anything to you - regardless if you have no tolerance. Seems like a waste to me.
Well I have a somewhat low tolerance and i do catch a decent buzz when i sniff a 5, so i was wondering if subbing it would work better. I'm going to be getting some 7.5s tomorrow so one 5mg pill gone isnt going to be an issue for me. I know you told me and probably other people are going to tell me to save it, but if i dont get a buzz, it should at least get rid of my headache, right?
itll probably help the headache. just eat it. if you take it sublingually than it won't pass through your liver where a lot of it is converted to hydromorphone
yes lol at me for wanting to make the most out of a low dose to get rid of my headache. lol indeed. i popped half and subbed the other half. i got a light buzz because i did it on an empty stomach and it also got rid of my headache. it isnt my fault some of you guys are so into opiates that you think my thread is a joke. but thank you to those who helped out. i guess i'll consider myself lucky to be a lightweight.

Good to hear,I hate headaches... My tolerance is so low that I can take a half of a hydro and get a buzz...
Damn, that's not even a light tolerance. That's like a midget tolerance. Like when I first started out my tolerance was even higher than that. I needed 150mg of codeine to get my first opiate high (which should aprx be equal to 15mg of oxycodone). But yea, in the future you should just pop hydros. Especially with something as low as 5mg, there's no need to sub it.
it wasnt that gross. i didnt really taste anything because i broke the half i put under my tongue into little pieces. chewing them is a lot worse and even chewing them doesnt bother me anymore
Still, though, subbing is something I'd only consider doing with an Oxycontin pill. I used to chew hydros, but finally realized that there's no difference when you just pop them. Just trying to save you some labor man. It'll make things easier on your taste buds.
yeah when i did 75 mgs of hydrocodone (10 7.5s), i just broke them in half and swallowed them. i couldn't imagine chewing 10 pills, which would come out to 20 when broken in half. uke: (which i ended up doing anyway. lol)
