Yes! I started them in my mid teens and still pull out the main ones every year or so. When Flint dies I still get a tear in my eye.

Very easy reads, but very enjoyable.

Yes, actually. I am a fan of the four biggies, and the shorter ones that branch off to deal with individual characters and situations. The Twins series is one of my favorites.

I was thinking about doing a thread like this myself. I'm currently reading the "war of souls" trilogy. It's the first in dragonlance that I am reading. So far I like it. What was the best in dragonlance anyone?

I agree with the earlier statement. Raistlin is definitely on hot dude! He was just well, very misunderstood. *sniff* viva raist!

Oh, I love Dragonlance. I started reading it in 12th grade and still go back to them every now and then. Raistlin is a great guy however for some strange reason I really like Morgion(God of decay) as well. Strange since he appears only in passing or short stories.

I actually think these were the first fantasy books I read... I was digging through my mom's endless stacks of books one day and came across them. I got through the first of the originals and was hooked. Raistlin is definitely my fav. character. By far, though, my favorite book of the whole series is Soulforge... the one that deals with Raist's childhood.

I think my favorite of the Dragonlance books must be The Legend of Huma. I believe it is actually well written as a literary work and not just popular entertainment.
