Broken finger

Can't play guitar to my full potential for like 4 weeks .

I can still tap and play in my a minor pentatonic though

How'd you break it?

 

Long story short me and some friends were putting a halfway taken apart weight machine into another friend's car trunk that was way too small(but we made it work!) when we were high.

Not sure what the weight machine's name brand was but it was kinda like a bowflex.

 

dont forget slide aswell

 

ooo man it must suck to break a bone while high

 

I'm not that good at slide

 

It didn't hurt until i got home later that night, when the pain just started to kill me. It was constant throbbing in the tip of my finger and it got swollen as fuck. The doctor had to heat up a paperclip and poke a hole in my nail to get alot of the blood/pressure out.

But as soon as it got smashed i couldnt really feel it cause i was so fucking high.

 

a broken finger is a good excuse to get better then!

 

when I was in 5th grade I broke my pinky finger on my left hand while I was on playground equipment... they gave me this splint that had blue foam on the inside. When I finally healed up and took it off the foam was a really gross greenish color, and smelled SOO bad haha

 

yeah when i broke my wirst when they were taking the cast off my arm was like scales, loads of dead skin, my wrist was weak as fuck aswell. Had to basically learn how to use it again.
I still have the cast aswell

 

Holy fuck that sounds painful.

 

it's really not as bad as it sounds. Last year my fingernail was slammed in a locker, and the whole thing turned blue and hurt like a bitch. If I touched anything with that finger my nail would be unbearably painful. When the dr poked a hole in the nail it actually felt good because all the pressure was relieved

it was scary as hell, though. i thought it was going to hurt alot more than it did

 

I could see if a regular broke there leg making a thread could be understandable.

hey the point was me not being able to play guitar, im not bitching about not being able to live cus of my finger tip being broke

 

even if they just broke a finger, a thread would be appropriate if the story of how they broke it was really good

otherwise it just belongs in the convo thread
