Do others know?

Do your parents/friends/significant other/pets know that you go to hipforums?

One time my dad saw it and said "Hipforums? If you want to know what it was like back in the day all you have to do is ask me, hell I was there." or something weird like that.

One of my buddies saw that I was on this and he was like "why are you on an internet forum, what are you gay?" and my other friend said "Shut up forums aren't gay it's just like facebook but you don't know the people" then they argued for a bit.

Then I took the time to show them what the site was about and they actually liked it.... Now they know how I know so much about weed lol, this site has taught me a lot lol.

My parents don't care - they think I'm a hippie anyway. My dog minds, because he sometimes comes up and rests his head on my lap for attention. And my boyfriend knows because he freaks out if I'm "flirting" with some people online - but I told him to get an account so he did. And now he doesn't freak out as much.

I've been coming here before I met him, but it's not like I am here chasing dick anyway.

My friends don't see me browse the forums that much, but I have been thinking of introducing a couple of them to the site. I think I need to share a good thing.

 

Not really. One friend uses other forums, and he is really bright. Everyone else i know is not so bright, but they mostly fail at google, so obviously forums arent much use to them. They all win at facebook though.

Yeah, forums tought me many things, from drugs to pc's to music to art. So far, the way i see, how like 80% of the world is kinda stupid - on forums that percentage is majorly decreased - because teh stupids either dont know what it is, or find it gay lol

And my gf knows, she has an account on here.

 

as far as I know none of my friends have heard of HF... and definitely not my parents

 

My parents found it in the history on my phone's browser and were saying we were all a bunch of losers or something.

I mentioned it to one of my friends who looked at it a little bit, but nothing consistent.

 

I think my brother knows I go on here, probably because I just leave it open and he sees it or whatever.

but neither of my parents know and none of my friends know.

 

hahaha to be honest, the weirdest shit actually occured to me one night last summer...
I was out drinking, we were drinking in a tourist spot then i saw this duder who looked so much like someone who used to be a regular here... He started smoking a joint and then i was like really really sure, and started talking to him about it. I was like heeey man your from hipforums am i rite?? hahahahah he was like wtf
turns out i made a huge mistake... i kinda explained and i think he offered me some of his joint. I got so smashed that night, then there was this black dude with a huge boom box.... he offered me his phone to look at some pics of brazil, and then one came up with him wearing a g string i started laughing so fucking hard. Aw man, crazy shit. crazy

 

There's a HipForums Group on Facebook that I'm in.

 

I just started telling my friends about it. My cousin and I, who have also been great friends for almost 17 years, used to be on the same forums when we were younger and he's on GrassCity and we trade forum stories. But any information I get from here I'll tell my friends its from 'the forums'. I don't think they know what a forum is...

 

I've only came on here a couple times while I've had friends over.

One time me and like 3 other friends were all in my room and we were drunk. So I came on here like I normally do and they started watching. It was kind of weird mixing real life with internet life. But I was drunk so I didn't care.

My girlfriend had an account on here... well actually it was made that same night I was just talking about. Thankfully she only came on the site once after that.

After she made an account I thought "Oh fuck, I have to be carefull about what I say now". But she probably isn't going to come back so I've given up on watching what I say.

 

my gf has an account here too, but never comes (to the forums that is). so yea she knows i go here. she kinda hates it. my "obsession with drugs."

my friends know. i told them about how i met a dude from the forums, and smoked some weed and chilled with him...and realized that it always sounds weird to say you met someone off the internet (it always sounds sexual at first). anyways my friends might think it's kinda gay, but they don't say that to me.

my parents and my 18 year old brother do not know.
