I've just discovered Bob Dylan

    I've always heard of him, of course, heard some of his music, but I'm watching a special on him now about his live new york concert in 1964, wow, this is like a holy moment, for the first time I've actually listened to the lyrics (usually I just listen to the tune, for any music). He's a genius, I love him.

    I listened to him in the 1990s, ironically around the same time I was listening to NWA.

    I'm the same as you were. I know who he is, I've heard a bit of his stuff but mostly The Traveling Willburys. I haven't "discovered" him yet though. It'll happen.

    Well that is just because you have this disorder they call insanity. Its ok, some Willbury albums or some Petty can cure it.

    Bob or Bobby was he was called then was introduced to America by Joan Baez at 1963 Newport Jazz Festival. You Tube has a ton of his early stuff available.

    Whatever happened to his son? He made that really awesome song 'one headlight', but I haven't heard anything else from him.
