You really are a moron. Obama halted the MMJ raids once he appointed the head of the DEA. He could not tell the leftover appointees from the Bush administration to halt the MMJ raids.

Did you really expect Mr. Obama to tell the little kids in the audience, and all the classrooms, and all of conservative america watching with their families, in the first ever white house town hall meeting, that it's gonna be ok to smoke pot?

It's a political move, and I don't like it any more than you, but there's no way any man in his position, with his own family watching and his advisors advising him, can tell America it's ok to use pot now since our economy is bad.

It sucks but it had to happen. If anything maybe at the end of his 2nd term. Here's hoping he will at least pull some strings in the DEA behind the scenes to end all the raids... for real this time.
