8000 drums and the free masons??

ok this is a really strange one ,not sure if anyones heard of the 8000 drum thing thats goin on tomorrow but if not just google it..
anyway we saw a sign at the end of the road for it and decided i would google it to see whats up.

i guess its basically like a gathering.drumming,praying for peace yadda yadda.

what blew me away about this is the people who have organized the one here are FREE MASONS!!!

does anyone else ever recall or know of free masons participating in something like this??

BTW,this shindig is at the same spot serf had the gathering at a couple years back..

I saw SE had posted this over in the ropehead forum, but I believe he somehow forgot to mention the Masons. I'm szhuyre hellllstiop ba sand terll uzssss akl abmt it.

8000 drums is my idea of Hell, anyway, with or without the Masons.

lol, yeah i know your feeling on drums lol..

i just found the free mason thing really weird especially since around here free mason = southern baptist ..

we thought about riding up there just to see everyone freezing there asses off. got down to 31 here this morning and you know what that means up there.. probably have a wind chill of -10 there right about now..lol

why people pick that spot for fall and spring gatherings is beyond me..

 

interesting, I'll ask mt cousin who is a freemason about this, and report back with what he says(him and his father have been mason since i can remember) and his wife and daughter are order of the eastern star so im sure they can give me some info on the topic. peace
