I dont know the gallons off hand but its 5 1/2 or 6 feet tall:hat: I'm gonna put out the woodstove and fire up the electric heat instead too
Ours is a pansy ass water heater. Can't even shower longer than 20 minutes ever. And washing dishes...I'm lucky to get a sinkload done. Gaah.
Psssh, I don't live in a trailer park. Just on the first street of a trailer house only division. There's an actual real house behind us, lol. They hate us and our trailer house soooo. Which I find offensive, we have a very nice house and yard.
Im gona power up my time machine with the extra megawatts.. thank you stupid ppl. If you really believe that turning off your lights for a hour is gonna save the planet. You might want to buy my 2 page book, "how to survive 2012" you might not like it booga. Cause on pg 2 it says ""eat a hot dog".. maybe I should make a veggie version.. "eat a carrot"
even if i did eat meat i can't eat hotdogs... they make me violently ill... damn sodium nitrate! uke:
I did that last year, except I didn't turn my AC off- turning my ac off for an hour and then back on trying to recool the house would expend far more energy than keeping it on.
Last year I turned on every light and electrical device I could I've been considering doing the same this year, but now that I'm paying for my own electricity bill I'm not so sure
last earth hour me and my friends made a nice cozy fire smoked lots of weed, then went and saw "Black Mountain" perform, mighty fine way to celebrate earth hour
I figure the Eastern side of this continent already paid their dues for all the hydro we saved that week or two about 5 or 6 summers ago
Oh so I am angry now? LoL. Okay?? Don't think so. But I am stating the facts. This is totally trendy and doesn't accomplish much, if anything. Not caring about this event doesn't make you an "earth hater" or anything like that. It means I think about things, don't look at things at face value and find my own way to be kind to the earth. I totally believe in preserving the enviroment and not polluting, but do not agree with those promoting this BS. My electricity bill, thanks for bringing it up, is probably lower than yours (14 dollars one month, usually 20-25 tops) and I don't leave lots of lights on anyways. But I won't make it a point to turn anything off that may be on anyways for that hour, no. Turning off my lights for an hour this month won't change my electricity bill at all compared to a month where the lights or on at the exact moment. You assume I am wasteful because I don't do this...funny. Very peculiar. Very faulty logic.
i don't have a home, so it should work out for me.. why the hell would they put earth hour on a saturday night?
