That is a very difficult situation. If you can afford it go see a urologist right away. But often even they will not know what to do. Best if you go here first and start reading reading reading. Good luck. You'll need it.

No amount of sex or masturbation can affect the way your penis grows, so that was not the cause. Some penises are naturally curved - simple as that.

So OK.. whats the deal with this Peyronie's Disease?

I posted in this guys other topic about this saying "Its OK, you didnt bend it, thats just how it is sometimes. Mine bends markedly to the left...."

I have never had a problem wit it, it works great, the wife likes it.

Should I be worrried or something?

The penis is made up of 3 sections - much like 3 long balloons taped together, with 1 at the top & 2 underneath, with the urethra nested between them.

Inside each of these 'balloons' is a mass of spongy blood vessels which fill up to form the erection - just as if you were to inflate the balloons. However, if just one of these 'balloons' has more or less blood vessels than the others, then it will cause a curvature in or away from that direction - just as it would if you were to over or under inflate the example of the 3 balloons.

Contrary to Victorian myth, this is not caused by excessive masturbation, no more than it would make hairs grow on your palms - it is simply something you are born with.

Most men will have a penis that curves upwards anyway. This is obviously designed that way by nature to ease penetration, but just because a man's penis doesn't curve upwards doesn't mean there's anything wrong with it. I am Bi, and as such have encountered many different types of penis, with all kinds of curvatures. Where there is a curve it is usually upwards and / or to the left, but on a few more rare occasions I have encountered ones that curve downward and / or to the right - in fact I sometimes wonder if this is affected by whether someone is left or right handed - not because of masturbation affecting it, but simply because of the genetic structure.

Because any curving would only have become noticeable once the size of the penis began to develop, during puberty, this would obviously co-incide with the time when most men start to masturbate, so it isn't really surprising that the commonly held belief that the 2 are connected comes about.

As for Peyronie's Disease, that you mention, take a look here. It gives a medical explanation of what it is, and you will notice that masturbation, as an alleged cause, is conspicuous by its absence.

    Thanks Pine, good info there.

I think I have Congenital Curvature... no pain or trouble with intercourse, no sharp bends up or down, just a gradual but definite curve to the left.
