Can smoking weed really make you stupid?

I definitely know how you feel. I'll be sitting on the couch watching tv, and I'll be dozing off, so I'll think "it's time for me to go to bed". Then, as soon as my head hits the pillow, I'm wide awake and laying there for hours trying to get to sleep. Weed is the only thing that helps, aside from xanax and alcohol, but drinking alcohol and/or taking xanax every night isn't the best thing to do.

oh yeah. since i've cut back, i've become virtually nocturnal

 

and me working in a coffeeshop doesnt help at all, i might as well start smoking crack or something haha

 

I drink A LOT of coffee too. I love a bowl of awesome sativa, a reduced fat donut and a grande latte.

 

That's how i am. I am talkign and then, I just forget. I do notice it only happens when I am stoned though...so far. I'm slowed down when I am not stoned, but it's to a normal pace of everyone around me.

 

I think it *is* a big prob with weed.And sthg that isn't really overemphasized.
Everyone says "ahh there's no side effects"..
But thats only if its moderate use.

The other problems with weed are paranoia , apathy.
And sthg I'm too tired to type about right now...

well i don`t feel stupid and i smoke for almost 6 years now. But it made me care a lot less about things, it made accept things more freely

 

The problem with marijuana is that it causes hypersensitivity of the the basal mitochondria within the cellular structure of the neural pathways causing random firing of neural electric pulses accross unformed neural pathways creating pathways of ultra conscious structural fecal impactions. The neurons are the green cells found within the inner folds of the stomach that leads directly to the anal opening... no wait... I mean, neural structures can be found throughout the soles of the feet, failure of which leads to bladder infections.

No wait. ...if you have uncontrollable orgasms, while smoking pot, you should see your doctor, because... well no wait, that would be, like, cool. ...But heavy smoking leads to rectal reflex action of the oral tissue, I mean, ...actually the vaginal walls of the inner eye becomes inflamed causing, like, explosive diarrhea...

No, actually the smoke gets in your eyes, and then you like, rub your eyes, man.

And just in case anyone is completely wasted and reading this thread, and now getting freaked out because they think I wrote something medically significant----I am not a doctor, I did not go to medical school, and I don't know if it really makes you more stupid---but if it does----I'm sure it is only temporary.
