and they made this change sound terrible, honestly...she's not sexed up at all...at least i don't think so. it's not like she even has a training bra yet, people need to calm the fuck down with stuff like this. thinking dora the explorer is sexy??? now what the hell is wrong with those people? lolz.
they just made her stylish. whatevs.

 

I think the problem I have with it is, Dora was a bit of a tom boy. Why couldn't they have kept that? Why is it that just because she grew up a bit, she has to be all girly. Like she "grew out" of it. Some girls are tom boys for life. I think they could have aged her without changing her style. There are enough Barbies, Bratz, Princesses and the like. What was wrong with good 'ol t-shirt and jeans wearing Dora?

I don't think she (the new Dora) looks sexy, I think she looks cute. I mean, heck, my 5 year old daughter dresses like that and she looks adorable, not at all sexy!

Ehh I've never watched Dora and I don't plan on starting now, and god no she ain't sexy, she's fuckin' sterotyped....

I liked the old Dora. I mean, how is she supposed to go exploring in that frilly thing? How is she supposed to walk in those pointy shoes? Old Dora was so practical. New Dora looks like she's trying to hook up.

As long as they keep her outside climbing rocks and mountains, camping in the woods, and going to environmental protests (OK, maybe not).

None of that mall shit, or she's history as far as I'm concerned, my daughter watches Dora.

 

What the gal really needs is a pair of moccasins, a buckskin shirt, and a bow drill. Now THAT is a role model for my kid.

 

Have her teach kids to snare rabbits.

 

I still stand by my point that the creators of that show should be slowly cooked alive.
