wow i really like that! and i'm not that big a fan of surface piercings. my friend's sister has her wrist pierced and the back of her neck pierced.
I've always wanted to get the back of my neck pierced. I have yet to find a place that did it. They always told me that because surface piercing often get rejected by the body they don't do them.
The bad problem with the big places is that everyone guarantees their work, which is usually a good thing, but because surface piercings are known to fail often, nobody will guarantee that.
That surface piercing looks great! I was talking to a girl i work with and she told me that the bottom piercing on a belly button is a considered a surface piercing? is this true?
you could say the same about a standard navel, really. especially if you happen to have a shallow navel without much skin to pierce. same with an eyebrow piercing. they are essentially all glorified surface piercings and as such, have a high rate of rejection. my inverse navel rejected btw and just overall acted like a pissy surface piercing. i still want it back though...
I had a friend that pierced her own bottom navel multiple times. It was before she turned 18 her mom kept finding out and making her take it out, and then she'd do it again. When she did it it always healed fine. When she turned 18 she went and had it done in a shop and it got horribly infected. Now she's got this giant scar and it's like there's a huge crater there.
She couldn't do it herself anymore because the scar tissue made it hurt too much. She had to have someone else do it.
Thanks! i guess i should have looked that up before i got it done haha. but i was walking a strip, and decided right then and there that i wanted to get it done. I love it!! it's soo pretty. ^_^ the picture i posted above is mine.:cheers2:
