oh man, cleaning out old closets is awesome

AOE has never been turn based. I had 1 and 2 back in the day...typical RTS games.

 

crazy i had the blue case too! i miss hotwheels that was my favorite toy along with legos.

 

i love cleaning out old closets! we have a room in my house just packed full of shit from me and my brother's childhood. i have boxes full of pictures, and just a bunch of other memorabilia.



oh, and i want your power ranger pillow!

my childhood was hot wheels(had all the boxes, and i recognize all of those cars too) legos, and gi-joes. not those giant clunky bullshit barbie style, im talkint the 3 inch tall, hard plasic bad boys, with the killer vehicles and sets. man i miss being a kid

Oh snap, Age of Empires stuff, what a freakin great game.(the actual game more so then the card game)

 

I played it but wasn't too much of a fan of it. The one thing I did like was how you could have guys from pretty much every era inlcuding the future.

 

Empire Earth was a great game, as were AoE 1 and 2. I would pick AoM over AoE though, however using titans is pretty cheap lol. I don't play any rts games anymore though, they just aren't as exhilarating or quick as other styles of gameplay. Also I like having to have a quick response time, stealth, and skill more so than strategy and attacking with massive forces.

 

maybe im just stoned('oh boy' they say moaning loudly because this post is bound to be dumb) but think about this. in the past RTS was the shit, and now fps's and stealth games have become dominant. this says something, in the past we were aiming high and raising generals, and now we are raising mere foot soldiers and grunts, our children as well as us are expendable.
