SNES - the stoners system

I was all baked last week and woke up the next morning morning to learn i have $250 in ebay purchases consisting of an SNES, games, and a super scope :haha:

So..What games can u guys recomend from the SNES days? im kinda puting a collection together of all the old games i remember playing as a kid, so far in that binge of purchases i bought, Super Mario, Jurrasic park, Lion King, Zelda:A link to the past

keep in mind Lion king and JP cost me a total of 6.50 including shipping so i figured why not lol plus they are classics

back when i had mine i played all sorts of games id like to remember/find again, so no genre is really out of my realm besides puzzle games really

 

Skate or Die, 'Snake, Rattle & Roll', Double Dragon (omg! DD!), Mortal Combat, Bugs Bunny's Birthday Blowout, 'Bubble, Bobble' (holy shit that reminds of the smell of an 80s television), and.... I'll get more.

 

Notice how the Zelda game still has the safety plastic?

 

I second Double Dragon, fucking DD

 

I have one, and its really good.
I only have three games, though.
Zelda: A Link To The Past, Double Dragon, Shaq Fu

All are great, except Shaq Fu.
Its a great system though

 

donkey kong country theirs a level called mine cart carnage...i love it haha i could just play it over and over

 

Fuck I wish I had a SNES. I think I'll just find an emulator and use the xbox 360 controller for pc.

 

super mario bros 3 is so amazing, and of course who doesn't love battletoads?

 

SNES is by far the best system ever, Super Mario RPG-Legend of the Seven Stars and Zelda: A Link to the Past are the 2 best games ever

 

i know exactly which level you are talking about, i bought DK country right when it first came out was an amazing game at the time

im also playing Mario RPG on the Wii's virtual console

Mario RPG, Earthbound, Secret of Mana, and a few others are the most expensive both locally and on ebay, they are usually at least 45 or more, earthbound i havent seen sold for less then 65

 

mmm Super Mario World. Battletoads was pretty awesome too.

 

You need Act Raiser.. one of the best fucking scrolling RPGs made for SNES.. Lufia is pimp too

got it backwards.. they made an animated series out of the video game... i totally remember that game.. it kicked serious ass

 

battletoads really was one of my favs, but i played donkey kong the most. and of couse, a game i could never beat: yoshi's island

 

Battletoads is cool and Double Dragon is cool, but the best was a game called Battletoads/Double Dragon. It was the best of both worlds.

Also, try to find some of the Mutant League sports games. Them shits was spectabulously entertaining.

I still can't beat A Link to the Past, I've been trying for probably going on 10 years now, and I still have like 3 temples left in the dark world
