Korn doing "Another Brick in the Wall" did you think this was good or bad. Do you think John Davis totally slaughtered the song or did they put a new edge on this song ? Personally I think this is a very good cover song of this song. They really put it together well, and who better to do it then Korn they have a great sense of imagery and imagination. I think it a good rock edge..
My brother loves korn. He played the song for me and I thought it was really good. I don't think anyone could of done a better version, except Pink Floyd themselves.
I'm with Prism, most of the kids today don't know what they're doing when it comes to rock, and don't have any soul whatsoever. Korn's version, in my opinion, was really, really bad, but ofcourse I'd say that, I'm obsessed with Classic rock and can't join the real world. I'm also a bit of a music elitist. Porcupine Tree did a good cover Another Brick in the Wall.
I just downloaded it, pretty good job with it. Another Floyd cover I really liked was Wyclefs version of Wish You Were Here...
Yeah, we totally kick ass, being stuck in the 60s and 70s and all that! Korn's version of "One" at the Metallica "Idol" thing was actually pretty bad, but again, I'm an elitist and hate most things made after 1983. I was really hoping to see Munky's attempt at the two leads, but they stopped right in the middle of the song and only did the rhythm and fills. You could barely hear Jonathan, so I really couldn't tell if he was any good with the vocals (but how hard is it to sing metal? lol). I've not heard that version of "Wish You Were Here", but I bet it's pretty good coming out of a Jamaican. Atleast I think he's Jamaican. The difference in speach between an Englishman and a Jamaican is pretty large, so it'd be interesting.
