i did it for similar reasons too i thought if i could stop eating i can stop anything. thats not true lol i did seven full days but after seven i knew i could have done ten (the first two days are the hardest after that its just a matter of biding your time) but i was back to work after a weeks holidays and i had finished what i set out to do so i was satisfied. i just drank liquids no special program or anything. my advice to you if you do it dont smoke weed!
I've been thinking about changing my eating habits too. I've been thinking of eating meat only on Fridays, and stop eating red meat.
i used lots of cumin, cayenne, cilantro (dried), lime, hungarian paprika, pepper, a bay leaf in the broth, dried onion in the broth (which i strain out because no one in my family likes cooked onions), garlic and the key is the fire roasted diced tomatoes. i get the best results and flavor with muir glen.
