I agree, in some ways, it is improving, but tomorrow there will be 50 000 kids who might disagree, and the next day, and the next,....
True, but think how many fewer that is than in the past. Infant mortality has dropped incredibly thanks to modern medicine, and though there is apathy about the 3rd world problems, it's not like NO ONE cares, and help is arriving there. Less than there could be, considering our wealth, but baby steps man, baby steps. I'd say we're no worse than ever, with the exception of being able to wipe out all human life and most other complex life at the push of a figurative button...a button often in the hands of madmen
