Wasn't LSD only discovered in the late thirties or early fourties accidentally by some old chemist?

 

Yes... his name was Dr. Richard Marx Lloyd Feinstein of zutergerber, Germany. He was a rather splendid man who led two quite different and twisted lives. Some say he was the inspiration of Mary Shelley's Frankenstein... well, it was a different version than her book as they lived during different time periods, but it was kind of influenced in the movie which was rather rare. He was related to Karl Marx.

 

And LSD being discovered then means what?

HAHAHAHA... that's funny. LSD was invented in 1943 by Albert Hoffman (not the curly headed guy, that's a diff. one) and it was used (until it became illegal, der) by psychiatrists fer their crazy patients w00t, i rock.
