i have been thinking about getting a tattoo lately.

i was thinking that say ten years goes by and i hate it, can i just get another tattoo over top and just get my skin colour so that you can't tell that there was a tattoo?

I've never heard of being able to tattoo skin color, I know that tattoo removal is painful and expensive. I watched a friend get tattoos removed from her neck and hands, it was awful.

If you think you might get sick of it, stick with temps and henna stuff...it's better and you can change your mind in a week or less...

    Peace & light

Well depending on what you get you could get another tat over it.....but as far as getting one of your skin color.....I dont think that would work. I have never heard of that. I dont know what your skin color is, but say you get a tat over another one......the colors in the new one have to be darker or as dark as the origional. For instance you cant disguise a black tatoo with a yellow one. One of my tats are done over and in one small place you can see the old one still.....where I put yellow over orange...you can still see the orange. If you think you might get sick of a tatoo in the near future...then you might want to think twice about getting one to begin with. Like the first poster said, tat removal is very expensive and painful....and I think that it also leaves a scar in the shape of the tatoo......but I could be wrong about that.:)

saw pics of a lady before and after, she was a dark woman but had some kind of skin disorder that made some patches white. so she got her dark colour tattooed over and it looked so natural. that's where i got the idea from.

I love tats but I did get 2 at the age of 15 & 16.

Those are NOW covered up with other tats as the older I got the more they were NOT me.

Also keep in mind that even if you don't ever want to cover it up and you still LOVE it 10 years from now ,,,you will always have to get touch ups,,ink fades,,sun fades it,,,etc... so either you leave it to look crappy & faded or you maintain it. My first one I got when I was 15,,,didn't focus on using sun screeen etc... and I could have had it touched up 5 years ago - I am 26 now ,,I ended up JUST covering it up on Saturday!

I love tats & will get a few more but I will make a commitment to maintain them at the very least ,,and every 5-6 years get them touched up ,,re-outlined etc... ,,just know you MUST do this to keep it beautiful!

My tat is actually only a temporary one - it will last up to 6 years. By then, if I still love it, I can get it done again properly all let it fade away. I got mine done in Manchester, UK, and I realise it's quite a new method, but you must be able to get that somewhere round your way

hi... i love also tatoos, thinking all the time to get one .i`m not saying that i will get boared in 10 years, but somethingd you might never know...so that is why i am afraid to get one. who knows if in 10 , 5 , ore 2 years i will still like tat. and if i won`t like it anymore it`s very possible that i can not remove it. i went to doctor and he told me , that the colour that black colour can be removed better as other colours.so if you wanna do a tat and you are thinking perhaps to remove it later , try it at least in a black colour.

You could always get a UV tattoo, that way it's only visible under a black light.... They do cause cancer though... I think I'll stick with henna...

they are literally radiation. that's why they glow, a good tattoo artists, or atleast one worth anything won't even carry the ink. plus its shitty ink to work with and the tattoo turns out like crap.

and u what??? tattoo ??...i doubt it..i know what im talking about trust me...there is nothing harmfl in it...the only thing that makes them glow is a non toxic ingredient used to help the glow in glowsticks...and no not the chemicals...one must do their research before talking.if there was anything harmful in them they would not be allowed to use it publicly..it would have been taken off of the market by now and if you check 99.9% of studios use it now days, its just that not many people know they can have it done.....(shouldnt pick an argument w/ an apprentice ;))
