If you live anywhere near an upcoming show I recommend him more so than anyone I can think of currently.
It was only his second show of the tour, and he's playing with a full ensemble of maniacs, so there was some slight technical issues and during Snookered (my favorite song off his new album) the band fell out of place 3 times very noticeably, but after 3 songs they seemed to lock it down and blew the place up for the rest of the show.
He bumped into Aura as well so now Sophia's blessed by a master lol  and he was a very cool guy to be around.
Luckily I had extra cash on me (a very, very rare occurence) so I was able to pick up both Bromst and Adventure on vinyl.
Definitley hate the scene kids and the fucks who think that kind of music warrants flailing around like a drunk beast when there are people 1/3 your size in all directions, but only one fucker got to me and he apologized before a scene unfolded so it was all good.

Conner make sure you get to the Wilmington show man, you would have fucking loved it :D

Philly is pretty well known for having some fucked up people in a crowd but really it wasnt as bad as Im used to.

I wonder what baby Sophia thought of that BASS! :D And the floor making your body shake when people start jumping

I dont know, to me the show was just ok, but Im also almost 8 months pregnant and was starving since an hour before we got inside, which immediately puts me in a cranky mood.
And that's the kind of show that I enjoy by dancing and when your lower back and hips hurt, plus you're carrying 30 pounds more than normally, it just doesnt feel right.
Concerts in this area of the world always feel so weird to me. It's kinda sad when I see an artist beg people to just dance instead of pushing people. Why is pushing people fun? And why would you want to push anyone while listening to that kind of music?
I'll always miss concerts in DR, with way less interesting artists, but people just want to dance, be happy and love everybody. Even while sober :p, I guess caribbean people are the true hippies hahahaha
Oh and I dont hate the scene kids, they amuse me and I always end up having some random chit chat with them, which I always enjoy. Like the girl in the bathroom telling me how her dad is a plumber and he taught her that "if it's brown you flush it, but if it's yellow you let it be".

you would think a plumber's daughter would know that the proper wording of the phrase is "if it's brown, flush it down. if it's yellow, let it mellow."

She loved it, she kept dancing all the night, but she was a bit mad and wanted to steal Dan Deacon's pizza. I was really so hungry, that when we were walking outside and he was holding the box, I was gonna ask him for a slice :p

It could be that's what she said, she said it plenty of times and was even singing it and doing a little dance.

I never heard the phrase before, so most likely Im rephrasing it and I dont have a good memory :p
