I'm almost 25......

and I've NEVER had a driver's liscense before. I know how to drive, but I've just never had the opprotunity to go take my test.

LOL, not the world's greatest confession, I just think it sucks that there are kids almost 10 years younger than me out riding around while I still have to get other people to cart my ass around

 

I have a great grandmother of 89 who has never driven a vehical or had a taste of alcohol.

..and no, she's not Amish.

 

^^Yeah, that's why old people are such terrible drivers. You would think they'd be better drivers cause they've been driving longer, but they are'nt. Most of these old women had husbands who drove everywhere for them, but when their husbands kick the bucket, they're forced to drive. So you pretty much have some 80yr old bitty who has less driving experience than most kids with their permits. Belive me, I'm from florida, aka driver hell. No one here drives right! The test is a damn joke! I just took it yesterday... I did, in this order: The Emergency Stop, 50 ft strait reverse, 3pt turn, uphill/downhill parking, and the perpendicular park. That's it! I did the whole thing in a damn parking lot; did'nt even go out on the road. I'm sorry, but they need to re-up their standards a bit, that shit was terrible.

 

^^^they're nbad drivers because aging kills reflexes/sight/hearing.

Anyway, my friend doesn't have a license and he's 22. He just has never had a need, but I think you should still get one. There are a lot of jobs and such that require you to have a DL.

Driving is overated . I don't drive anymore and I save money and don't need a car .

 

i didnt have my liscense till the age of 18

 

I am just going to be getting my liscense in the next month or so. I've had my permit since I was 19, but I was always too frightened. Thank the Lord for getting me over that fear.

i just got mine a few months back... i knew how to drive but was deadly afrid of it.

 

I got mine a little after my 18th birthday...I about died taking the test I was so nervous. lol

 

I was 18, almost 19 when i got mine.. my bro is almost 20 and very far from getting his... (he can't drive!)

i hated having to wait so long, but whats the point of getting a licence when i've had no money to buy a car till now

 

I'm not scared to take my drivers test, but your car has to be in near perfect condition for it and mine is FAR from it. My mother has a decent car, but its manual and I can't drive a stick. grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, it's so irritating.
