    Does any of those special mushrooms grow in michigan

    yes. they do. although most are hard to identify from the poisonous ones because they grow in similar environments around here. around pine trees, coniferous forests, usually. get a mushroom guide book, i am on my own hunt as well :cheers2:

    I once found an Amomita mescaria on the west coast of Michigan, but we left it where it was because we felt that was right, and we didn't really know how to prepare it properly.
