would 3 gal pots be good enough to grow in ?also gonna use worm castings will i have to use nutes for vegggie state or just for flowering?uke:
3 gallon pots are fine, but keep in mind that your plants won't be as big as they would in 5 gallon. still, they should get to decent size....and yes, nutes are to be used as soon as the cotyledon (initial set of rounded non-true leaves at base of stem) die off, since this is a seedling's initial food source (i would say, probably about 2 weeks or so after they poke through the ground you can start nuting). be sure to start at only a quarter or so strength of the manufacturer's recommended amount, and slowly work up until you find a good amount to "dial into".
