Does it shrink in the dryer?

I know wool does, but does cotton?

i think it does.. a little bit... like jeans do.. but i noticed they "shrink" and then get stretched out while wearing them.. then reshrink once washed again.

i think it's the heat that shrinks them.. so a hot water wash would do it..

a lot of clothes are pre-shrunk. also, i wash everything but my whites on cold, so there is very little noticeable shrinkage... unlike with other things in the cold

    god i am lame.
