My neighbor has one plant. I cut one to use it in my hairbecause i feel my dreads dry. How to use this plant? I have to peel it off and use the fluid, or I have to put it in my oysterizer lol.
Hmm chop a bit off the plant and then using a knife carefully take off the skin so that your left with only a big chunk of jelly aloe vera. Then put it in a blender...? Maybe add some other natural remedies to it to help make it a better treatment? Peace and love.
What should I do with it?! Add it to my hair, and leave it like a gel, or I have to rinse it after a while?
All i do is take the aloe vera out of the plant and apply some water to it as i put it on my dreads. Whenever I use it I do it the same day I wash my hair.. from there on I leave it on my hair until I wash it again, which is usually like 2 days after.
Yeah just slice it open and sparingly apply it on your locks. I would do it before a couple days of washing your hair. I personally didn't enjoy the feel of it while it was on, but after a washing they feel just fine
I only used it once, and I just squeezed the gel out of the leaf. It didn't really do anything that I noticed though.
Ok, I just leave it on 'til next wash... I wash my hair each 4 days because they are 6 weeks tomorrow.
Well before it dries it feels sticky, but after.. idk how to describe it. My hair was softer after i washed it out, but I too have only used it a couple times. I say just give it a try and see how it goes.
..and if you still have those elastics in you should probably take them out and let your hair do it's own thang
If you want to water it down a bit you can, just to make the aloe go farther, but no you don't need anything else. You could always go buy aloe gel for pretty cheap if you'd prefer.
cut the plant open and get a quarter-sized blob on your hand. rub your hands together as you would soap and then graze it over your dreads , trying to get a bit on each one. you don't need too much.
