I was going through some posts on here and I read somewhere that u shouldn't take a plea bargain if u get arrested. Now I'm confused because I though that was a good thing to do. What do u guys think?
depends on what the bargain is and what your chances are of getting the entire thing dropped. there really is no set answer for this question
Depends on the specific situation. Rule of thumb, don't cooperate with the cops. You might piss them off, but it only makes their job harder.
It all depends on the situation, but generally it isin't helpfull to take a plea bargain. I have only been arested once, many years ago, I was caught with an lb and was 100% guilty. I was offered a plea bargain where I would get off if I turned bitch. I had a good lawyer who fought the case and I ended up walking away scot free and standing tall because the cops mishandled the chain of custody on the evidence. That sort of thing happens alot because most people take a deal so the are not ready to go to court on minor cases.
GET A LAWYER. It's been weeks since you got arrested and started asking questions. If you don't have a lawyer and are this clueless you might end up in jail with a dick up your ass.

Then ask your lawyer. More than once you have been told by forum members to stop asking people without law degrees for legal advice. Doesn't that mean it belongs in the Stoner's Lounge? That your lawyer couldn't answer? So you're paying this guy around $200-300 an hour and you're not even using him? No, just spam hater. That's because most people have enough common sense to ask someone that can help them. Asking for legal advice on a Marijuana forum is like asking for pregnancy tips at an abortion clinic.
I ask on here because I want to know what happened to other people in the same situation and from that I gain relaxation. I'm not the hater here you are, I don't want to argue anymore, let's keep the peace and smoke a bowl as stoners should... Too bad we can't actually do that lol
Well I wouldn't be smoking a bowl with court so close. Plea bargains are up to the DA. It REALLY helps if your lawyer has been practicing in your county for a while and knows the DA. I've never been to court but several of my friends have dealt with simple possession and underage drinking. The lawyer they used has a daughter that went to my high school. I'm not sure how she had it in with the DA and judges in the area (might have had something to do with being a MILF) but she got 3 out of 4 kids out of their drinking tickets. My three friends that used her for possession/paraphernalia charges got unsupervised probation and just a little community service. Pretty light considering two of them had previous charges. If you think your lawyer is worth two shits then don't take the plea bargain.
Alright thanks, and I haven't been I stopped a month ago cause of treatment (rehabilitation program) and shit but am gna start up again after I see war happens with court date. Not sure why it matters though it's not like their gna test me when I go?
