Coolest thing: Tim and I put up glow in the dark stars, moons, galaxies and else all over our bedroom ceiling and walls earlier. It looks awesome. Kinda intense too though, haha.. oh well. Anyhoo.. This has been the best night ever. We've been so busy with moving and sorting everything out and I have a bunch of essay deadlines coming up too, but tonight we've just been doing fun stuff. We have the fire going, I cooked lush dinner (chunks of chicken, babycorn, peppers, cabbage, asparagus and udon noodles in spicy miso soup base), we ate in the garden and hung out there for a bit potting some plants, then we watched 24 and the Apprentice, had awesome sex and now I'm sitting in front of the fire having a spliff and thinking that life is pretty damn good. What word would describe your life at the moment?
i would say life is blissful...i righted a lot of wrongs over the past few days so i'm feeling rather good about it
Crossroads-ish. Tho' fortunately it does't involve any characters from an ancient Midlands soap about a motel. A bit like that song from the film Paradise Alley. But not quite. The edge of s'thing good .. or something not so good.I don't tend to do "simple life"
Ups and downs.. ups: moving to a new place away from hyper-annoying housemates, going raving on Saturday & meeting mates for a drink tomorrow. Downs: slightly ill, essay deadlines & revision (or lack of).
I wanted to do that to my kids ceiling, but they ceiling is too high even with a chair. I spelled out their names with stars on the wall instead.
I feel free. I almost made a HUUGGE mistake, but thankfully I didnt. I can breathe better and sleep deeper.
Relaxed. The kids are officially now on spring break and I don't have to deal with any more school drama for 10 whole days! Woohoo!
That's so awesome! I love udon noodles. Andy's not big on asian food, but he's leaving for two weeks on Monday, so I'm udoning away. Life is hectic right now, but good. I just want to move! House hunting flat out sucks when you live 8 hours away from where you're moving.
Thanks KC I love our kitchen too, hahah. It inspires me to cook lots of yummy things and that says a lot because I generally despise cooking.
Stoned sounds good. Are you on facebook? I have lots of house photos on there if you wanna see. I realized I don't actually want to put them up on here for lots of random people to see, not sure why exactly but I guess it's a privacy thing. Anyhoo.. add me on facebook!
