Okay, so right now I only have $100 I can allot to concert tickets, at least till I get paid in a week and a half...

Phish tickets go on sale tomorrow. I've planned on buying two for the MD concert in August, but, I completely forgot about The Dead shows and they are going to be here in a few weeks. So, my question to all of you is...

Should I buy two Phish tickets - one for myself and one for resell at the show...

    or...

Should I buy a Phish and a Dead ticket and go to both shows?

Aw man. That's a good suggestion but I have to get my concert fix this summer, plus the three Phish Reunion concerts here the other week were a major tease, plus I can get weed and sex anytime I want...I can't get Grateful Dead and Phish live anytime I want.

No brainer, one of each. Why buy a second Phish ticket for resale if all you want to do is charge some poor soul more than you paid for it?

I think I'm going to go with Zilla.

I wasn't going to offer the ticket at a specific price, I was going to sell it to the first person that came up to me or I saw with a raised finger and sell it at their offering price and use the money for food for the camp - not scalp for a $1000 above regular cost.

Even if you aren't a Phish head, the concert is still a good party both inside the venue and outside, and there is plenty of good to be found.

Apparently not. I ended up getting one of each, and I'm glad I did. I'm excited as hell. Can't fucking wait.

T -17 days - The Dead in DC! Awesome.

...Or buy dead tickets and sell one at the show. The dead tickets (sold at the show) are gonna go for MUCH more than the phish ones. And I mean, I like phish and everything, but common, its THE GRATEFUL DEAD!!!

Good call on one of each, I would have suggested the same. Soon I'm getting my Rothbury ticket so I'll have the Dead covered, all that is left is jumping on Phish when the Fenway show goes on sale. If I can somehow scrape enough money together to get out to moe.down on Labor day my summer will be complete. Start with Phish, Rothbury midway, and moe to finish it off. I'm so pumped!!
